class character of third front allies

the communist party is overemphasising the regional parties without defining there class charecter.
when we emphasise the national parties like the bjp and the congress are lead by the big buergeosie we tend to conveniently ignore the fuedal nature of the regional parties.
looking at the caste equation it is the yadavs who have become the zamindars in uttarpradesh and bihar. the jats are zamindars in haryana. they belong to the other backward class (obcs).
we have to be very carefull in making alliances.
in my opinion given a choice between capitalism and fuedalism i would prefer capitalism.
i would have liked our comrades to comment on the class charecter of our allies.
palatial politics is a waste of time.
if it is a turning point in indian revolutionary movement, the turn is definately backwards.
unless we have a sustained movement led by the cpm on concrete developmental issues. not only protesting but giving specific focussed alternatives, we would be back during next elections talking about the third alternative.
third alternative with a weaker left is a non-starter.
left is going to be weak in this parliment is my assesment.
this would give us a oppurtunity to look inwards and should be looked at in positive light.
prakash kutty.
